FLC TV - January 25 Sermon - 1 Corinthians 7: Tension

1 Corinthians 7:8-9: Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

FLC TV - January 18 Sermon - 1 Corinthians 6: Playground or Temple

1 Corinthians 6:15-20: Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

FLC TV - January 11 Sermon - Matthew 2: Desires

Matthew 2:1-2: After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

2015 Women's Summer Bible Study!

The summer women's Bible Study for 2015 will be One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp and is a video-based, 5 week Bible study. Ann Voskamp encourages us to find the good in life in all circumstances. It’s only in this expression of gratitude for the life we already have, that we discover the life we've always wanted ... a life we can take, give thanks for, and use to serve others. In it, we come to feel and know the impossible right down to our core: We are wildly loved by God. The cost of the participant guide is $7. We will meet on Thursdays beginning June 25. Contact Angie Naden if you are would like a participant guide.
