FLC Picnic - August 29

What a great day for a picnic!  Thank you, Lord, for clear skies, fun, food and fellowship!

VBS Recap

What an amazing turnout for VBS!  A huge thank you to Pastor Matt and Mary Rose for the amazing props and scenery of the VBS "camp".  The Camp Perkins staff did a great job and we owe much appreciation to our wonderful volunteers who brought in so many supplies and kept everything running smoothly!

Breeze Church Management System

Starting January 1st, FLC is using the Breeze Church Management System so that members can access their giving, attendance, contact info and find other members.  Our attendance and online giving forms will now look different!  This page describes how to to create your account so you can:

  • Record your attendance each week for the online worship
  • Use the new online giving form

Creating the account:

Step 1:  Click the 'Create Account' link.

Step 2:  FLC members can enter their name and email address.  Breeze will look through its database of FLC members and make a match based on your email address and then send you an email to finish the process.  (If you use an email address that FLC doesn't have on record, it may not match).

Step 3: If Breeze matches your email, you'll receive a "Success!" message.  If you receive a "Sorry, we were unable to find a profile matching this information" message, contact the FLC office to see which email address we have on file, or if you're not a member we can create a guest account for you.

Step 4:  Click the "Create Account" button in the email that Breeze sends.

Step 5:  Create a username and password.  You're done!  Scroll down for instructions on how to record attendance.

Recording attendance for online worship:

Step 1: Click the attendance link below the livestream video.

Step 2: Enter your name or phone number in the search field, then check the box next to your name.

Step 3: Breeze will bring up all the family members associated with the name that was searched on - check the box next to each person who is attending, and click 'Done' to finish recording attendance.  That's it!

Online giving is a breeze!  Login to the account you've created and set up your giving as a one time or recurring payment using either credit card or an ACH deposit from your checking account.

O Antiphons

The O antiphons are verses of praise used during the last seven days of Advent (December 17-23). They are referred to as the "O Antiphons'' because the title of each one begins with the "O" addressing a given title in the verse to Christ. Each antiphon is a reflection on the name of Christ, and praise of one of his attributes mentioned in Scripture.

December 23rd - O Emmanuel - O God With Us

December 22nd - O Rex Gentium - O King of the Nations

December 21st - O Oriens - O Dayspring

December 20th - O Clavis David - O Key of David

December 19th - O Radix Jesse - O Root of Jesse

December 18th - O Adonai - O Lord of Might

December 17th O Sapientia – O Wisdom
